About sonny

Sonny is a multi disciplinary designer, educator, artist, and adventurer whose work represents many different forms of problem solving and visual communication platforms.

Growing up firmly embedded in the DIY culture of graffiti, skating, and overall creativity; Sonny was able to obtain a unique perspective on design and articulation. A PSU.GD alum and Portland native, Sonny graduated from the program in 2017 with a minor in advertising and returned to pursue his goal of working in eduction and design. He teaches an array of subjects from intro to visual design and typography to digital page design and digital media. In 2018 he successfully designed and managed a rebranding campaign for a local apparel company which expanded Oregonizm’s consumer base and doubled sales. He also wrote and executed a marketing strategy for a new restaurant in Hollywood Ca, co-owned by the host of Vice’s Bong appetite and the winner of Americas Top Chef in 2017. Combining his love for typography and legibility, his life has become a platform for new design challenges and experiences. 


With every new project, his love for design increases, as well as his disciplines for efficiency and analytical visual solutions.
